Fall 2018 - Only electives left!

As I start this semester, I am reminded that only three electives stand between me and comprehensive exams.  I'll be taking GIS for Emergency Management this Spring.  I've already had some issues getting to software installed but those have been resolved...I think.  More to come...

Fall 2017 - a new beginning, of sorts

I'm considering this Fall a new beginning for my classes.  Why, you ask.  I took the summer off to reconnect with my wife and get a few things done.  So, this semester kind of seems like starting over.
I will be taking one class; EM 832: Hazards Risk Management & Community Resilience.  Weekly discussion, a couple of tests and a fifteen page final paper/project.

Fall Semester Recap

Darn it!  I made my first "B".  I guess participating in "class" - usually the only one - and turning everything in on time doesn't get you what it used to.  Oh well, better luck next time.

Fall Semester Begins

The Fall semester began yesterday and I'm already late on a BlackBoard posting.  I misread the syllabus!!!  At least we have sixteen weeks of DB postings and she takes our ten best for our grade.

Summer term update

By the grace of God, I made an A in Qualitative Research.  That was my last research class.  In the Fall, I'll be taking my third Integrative Seminar, and Interdisciplinary Emergency Management and Research.  Sounds like fun, eh?

Summer mid-term 2016

The semester is going very well. I've completed everything more or less on-time.  Lots of work to complete before the end of the semester.  Two more papers and a 20-page final.

Summer 2016

This summer I'll be taking Qualitative Research with a new-to-me instructor.  I understand she is somewhat demanding but very fair.  I'll try to do a better job of weekly updates this summer.
